Leading a Multi-Generational Workforce

presented by Scott De Long, Ph.D.

Join Scott De Long, Ph.D. for this insightful webinar as he delves into the dynamic landscape of today's intergenerational workforce. With 69% of our current labor force belonging to Millennials and Gen Z, it's time to step back and attempt to understand their perspective and needs rather than pointing fingers or clinging to the outdated management styles that many of us leading today's businesses came up in. Command and control styles of leadership are not only no longer effective but now prove to be detrimental to creating a successful business. Discover why simply blaming the pandemic for the "Great Resignation" is missing the bigger picture. High turnover rates persist because young professionals seek workplaces that align with their values and offer meaningful engagement. In this webinar, Dr. Scott De Long will guide you to help you bridge the generation gap and foster a thriving, productive workplace. From recognizing the challenges of a multigenerational workforce to reframing your approach to leadership, this session promises valuable takeaways for all attendees.

OBJECTIVES:

  • Gain clarity on the issues plaguing multigenerational workplaces through engaging visuals and discussions.
  • Understand the intrinsic value of adapting to the needs of younger generations in the workforce.

OUTCOMES:

  • Shift your perspective to LEAD, not just manage, diverse teams effectively.
  • Acquire actionable strategies for cultivating a healthy and productive work environment that resonates with employees across generations.

All attendees will receive access to an online evaluation tool so you can see where you rank and provide recommendations for improvement.

Solving the Mystery of Employee
Retention: Proven Techniques for
Retaining Your Best Employees

presented by Mark Allen

Retaining your best employees has always been a top priority, but now more than ever it has become top of mind for senior executives. We are currently experiencing the perfect storm of a labor shortage, a skills shortage, the Great Resignation, and the mass exodus of Baby Boomers from the workforce. The best way to learn how to drive retention is to first understand what drives turnover.

In this session, we will examine the real reasons why employees leave. Once we understand that, driving retention is simple: just eliminate the turnover factors--IF you have the will to do it.

At this session you will learn:

  • The best techniques for driving retention
  • What the data tells us about The Great Resignation
  • How to analyze and act on data from engagement surveys and exit interviews

From Burnout to Brilliance:
Transforming Work Culture Through
Energy Management

presented by Cecilia Gorman

The past few years have presented unprecedented challenges, with remote work and physical disconnection leading to a noticeable decline in human connection and shared enthusiasm. It’s becoming increasingly evident that to make a meaningful impact at work, cultivating a high-energy atmosphere is not just beneficial—it’s imperative.

Drawing upon real-world examples and cutting-edge research, this session digs into the connection among employee interaction, engagement, and energy. There’s a special emphasis on training environments, where the level of participant energy is a critical determinant of learning effectiveness and knowledge retention. Without a palpable sense of energy and motivation, participants are likely to leave feeling uninspired and unprepared to apply what they’ve learned. Conversely, when the energy is right, the learning environment transforms, leading to heightened engagement, deeper understanding, and a readiness to put new skills into practice.

Key Takeaways:

  1. The Contagious Power of Energy:
Discover how energy acts as a silent communicator within your teams, influencing moods, engagement levels, and overall productivity. Learn strategies to foster a positive energy flow, creating a ripple effect that uplifts the entire team and transforms the workplace atmosphere.
  2. Mastering Your Energy State:
Equip yourself with practical tools and techniques to manage and boost your own energy levels, ensuring that you are always bringing your best self to work. Understand the science of energy management and learn how to navigate days when your energy might be lagging, turning potential setbacks into opportunities for growth and connection.
  3. Reducing Friction, Amplifying Energy:
Uncover tips and tools designed to lessen daily friction, paving the way for a smoother, more harmonious work environment. Learn how creating space for energy to flow freely can lead to enhanced productivity, stronger collaboration, and a palpable sense of engagement and satisfaction among employees.

By the end of this talk, attendees will be equipped with a comprehensive understanding of the pivotal role that energy plays in employee engagement, along with a toolkit of strategies to harness this power for the benefit of their teams and organizations. Join us in unlocking the secrets of the Engagement Dynamo, and transform your workplace into a hub of energy, enthusiasm, and unparalleled productivity.

Attendees will enjoy one complimentary drink (beer or wine), amazing finger food, and those that participate in the voluntary mini-donation drive will have an opportunity to win a neat raffle prize.
