Join Us for the
PIHRA Ventura County Wellness Walk

Special Learning Session,

The session will help attendees:

- Understand emerging workforce wellbeing trends
- Explore the connection between employee wellbeing and organization outcomes
- Identify practical strategies HR leaders can implement immediately
- Experience movement-based wellbeing firsthand

For most of this 2-mile adventure, we’ll walk along the paved path parallel to the beach, offering stunning ocean views, ocean breezes, and iconic landmarks such as the Ventura Pier and Surfers Point.

This path is paved and flat except for the staircase to the parking structure and leading up to the Ventura Pier where we will host a post walk brunch at Beach House Tacos. Public restrooms are available next to the parking structure and the restaurants. We welcome all fitness levels and will ensure the adventure offers a manageable, enjoyable walk for all experience levels. Please wear your favorite comfortable sneakers with good grip. Don’t forget your water bottle, sunscreen, sunglasses, or a hat.

The estimated time of this walk is roughly 60 minutes round-trip. Let’s walk, talk, and connect — because wellness is better when shared

Michelle Landrum is a Vice President at Gallagher with over 17 years of experience in employee benefits brokerage. She partners with mid-market employers (100 – 5,000 employees) across a wide range of industries to design and deliver strategic benefits solutions that improve employee experience, reduce administrative burden, and align with broader organizational goals. Michelle brings a hands-on, consultative approach to every relationship, serving as a trusted advisor and strategic partner to HR and finance leaders navigating today’s complex benefits landscape.

Michelle earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a focus in Human Resources Management from Troy University. She holds the Certified Employee Benefit Specialist (CEBS) and Group Benefits Disability Specialist (GBDS) designations, as well as a certificate in Global Benefits Management.

Michelle is deeply engaged in the HR and benefits community. She is the founder and Board President of Aerospace HR of SoCal and serves as the Board Chair of PIHRA Pasadena and the Board President of the Los Angeles chapter of ISCEBS, the premier education resource for benefits professionals. Her volunteer work also includes advocacy and support for organizations serving foster youth and animal welfare.
