Unconscious Inclusion: The Work Beyond the WorkshopTM is an all-encompassing neuroscience- backed program that delivers meaningful cultural transformation. It's not just about awareness; it’s about action, evolution and sustainable change.

This evidence-based program provides real-time support in implementing change within your organization, builds competency in an in-demand and highly sought after skill, enhances communication and active listening skills and includes accountability measures making DEI actions effective and long-lasting. As a result, learns gain a new-found awareness of their own unconscious bias and its impact on their team, an inclusive workplace culture created through improved productivity, efficiency, and communication, an increased ability to confidently navigate DEI challenges in the workplace and lasting behavior change with a commitment to microlearning across mixed media.

Learning Objectives:

  • Gain awareness that diversity makes our workplaces stronger and be able to identify examples within the learner’s workplace.
  • Reflect on the learner’s own bias, practice identification of those biases and increase awareness that unconscious biases lead to biased actions.
  • Practice using Active Listening to increase connections with professional colleagues and learn how to receive information/feedback in a way that encourages communications.
  • Understand the value of inclusion in the workplace.
  • Be able to define both equity and equality and be able to identify examples of inequity in workplace.

The 13-Module program starts with a Launch Party, and weekly online modules will begin to release after you have attended the intro meeting.

Additional Open Discussion Labs will be offered monthly. Attendance is encouraged, but optional for program completion.

Stacey A. Gordon, SHRM-SCP, Workplace Culture Consultant and Executive Advisor, Rework Work

As an Executive Advisor and Inclusive Workplace Culture Consultant, Stacey anchors action using change management principles while facilitating mindset shifts. She combines concepts of recruiting, career development, diversity and workplace culture to focus on reworking how companies work; including how they inclusively recruit, hire and engage employees, effectively creating inclusion and belonging for all.

The founder of Rework Work and author of the popular DEI book, UNBIAS: Addressing Unconscious Bias at Work, Stacey partners with organizations such as American Express, GE and ADP and has been published in Forbes, Fast Company and Harvard Business Review. Her Unconscious Bias course was the number 1 most watched course on the LinkedIn Learning platform and she is a featured member of the SHRM Speakers Bureau.

There will be a 50% administration fee for any cancellations. If you need to cancel, we must receive it in writing (email or fax) 2 business days prior to the event during normal business hours. Refunds will not be given to no-shows. Credits will not be issued for use towards future PIHRA events.
