presented by Sean McIntosh
Do you feel like something is happening in the state and federal arena regarding workplace legislation, but you don’t know what it is?
PIHRA’s Legislative Affairs team is happy to invite you to this informative and interactive chat that will take some of the mystery out of the legislative process.
We are pleased to have Sean McIntosh, senior specialist, Member Advocacy for SHRM, as our special guest. Sean, the program director for the SHRM A-Team, will discuss the A-Team’s role in the federal legislative process. In addition, Michael Kalt, director CalSHRM Government Affairs, will bring us up to date on the state employment bills that were approved to go to Governor Newsom’s office for consideration at the close of the 2020 legislative session.
Our goal is to provide stimulating information regarding the inner workings of the state and federal HR legislative process, create team spirit and invite you to join our endeavors on behalf of California’s human resources professionals.
