PIHRA COVID-19 Episode 11:
How to Prevent Managers from
Breaking Employment Laws

presented by Eric De Wames, Esq.

Takeaways:

  1. ADA/FEHA laws are complex and often require skilled strategy. We will demonstrate how to train managers to stay out of the way of good decision-making in this new COVID-19 environment.
  2. Wage & Hour laws are the single most litigated issues in CA. Managers are most often the culprits violating these provisions, despite compliant policies in place. This exposure will reach new heights in the remote work environment. Learn how to mitigate this new reality.
  3. Leaves of absence were already challenging to navigate in California. With new federal/state/local laws, it is a minefield of liability. Learn how to comply with & properly navigate these leaves.
