Reputation Management Begins
in the HR Department

presented by Eden Gillott

In today’s 24-hour news cycle, no company can escape traditional and social media scrutiny. “No comment” isn’t an option, but swift, appropriate action is. The best time to do damage control is at the first whiff of trouble -- before any damage happens.

“Reputation Management Begins in the HR Department” covers how to equip employees at all levels with information, policies and procedures to minimize and mitigate losses to reputation and goodwill.

The topic includes how to create a crisis PR plan, how to establish a crisis PR team, best ways to communicate with employees, training about how employees should communicate with others about the crisis, including on social media and internally, and how to curtail speculation and innuendo when you are not privy to or able to fully disclose all the facts.

Attendees will learn:

  • How the HR department can add value to executives during a crisis
  • Addressing small matters so they don’t become big headaches
  • Managing large issues so you can keep the company running.
