Susan Howington is the CEO and Founder of the outplacement and career coaching firm called Power Connections Career Services, Inc. Her life-long goal is to help professionals of all levels create, manage and advance their careers through career enjoyment and fulfillment; which, ultimately, leads to their success.
Susan was profiled by OC Metro Magazine as one of 15 Orange County Women Who Inspire Others. She has appeared in the Orange County Register, Los Angeles Times, and numerous national online publications. She is the author of the book called “How Smart People Sabotage Their Job Search: 10 Mistakes Executives Make and How to Fix Them.”
Power Connections was interviewed in the Wall Street Journal article called “Assistance for Laid Off Workers Gets Downsized” and the Wall Street Journal article called “To Look Young at Work, Hide Your Child’s Age.” She has had the pleasure of being a regular guest on a variety of TV and radio shows and is a former host of the Spectrum Cable TV show called Eye on Business.
Previously, Susan was the Co-Chair of the Orange County National Human Resources Association Executive of the Year Award Initiative. Susan is currently a founding Board Member of the Orange County and San Diego chapters DisruptHR and she is a member of SHRM.
