When it comes to age groups in the workplace, stereotypes abound. Millennials are lazy and entitled, boomers are rule-breakers who are now enforcing the rules, and Gen X is stuck in between. It seems that the generations don't have a lot in common, which sometimes leads to misunderstanding in the workplace.

In fact, all generations can agree on some key values; those are the values that need our focus. And yes, each generation has idiosyncrasies. If we know their values and quirks, we can get across to them more effectively.

In this dynamic presentation, communications consultant Elizabeth Danziger will ask PIHRA members to question their assumptions about the various generations, identify the values most identified with the major generational groups in the workplace, and share ways to use this knowledge to communicate better with each generation.
