Hero or Scapegoat? How HR Can Help
Win (or Lose) an Employment Lawsuit

presented by James McDonald, Jr.

HR professionals are often key to the success (or failure) of an employer in court. From the drafting of policies, to selection and onboarding of employees, to documentation of poor performance, to investigation of misconduct, to the manner in which a termination is conducted, HR’s performance can make a big difference between winning at trial and paying an expensive settlement.

This presentation will address each of these areas as well as tips on how to give a winning deposition in an employment case.
