Eligibility requirements are a minimum of 1 year of experience in a professional-level HR position with a Master's degree or higher, or a minimum of 2 years of experience in a professional-level HR position with a Bachelor's degree, or a minimum of 4 years of experience in a professional-level HR position with less than a Bachelor's degree.
SPHR - An HR certification that solidifies your credibility as leader in HR and have experience in more senior level work such as development of strategy, negotiation and influence. Eligibility Requirements are a minimum of 4 years of experience in a professional-level HR position with a Master’s degree or higher, or a minimum of 5 years of experience in a professional-level HR position with a Bachelor’s degree, or a minimum of 7 years of experience in a professional-level HR position with less than a Bachelor's degree.

Cheryl Albert, SPHR, SHRM-SCP obtained a BA in Psychology from UCLA and an MBA from the University of Redlands. While at Target Stores, she was responsible for $40M in business and as many as 400 employees. Also she served as the Master Trainer for her District. Currently, as Director of Human Resources for Robbins Brothers Jewelry where she has worked for nearly 20 years, she is responsible for all areas of HR including Benefits, Employee Relations, Safety, Compensation, Compliance, 401K, Budgets, Risk Management and GL Insurance, etc. Robbins Brothers Jewelry has employees in 16 locations across 4 states. Prior to her HR role, she was General Manager and Sales Manager for 10 years with direct P&L responsibility, which provided her with a broad business perspective with which to layer on her passion for human resources.
Her philosophy is “Be guided by a strong moral compass and treat people ethically. If you take care of your team and do the right thing, it is ultimately the right thing for the business.”
